Cleanliness is an important aspect of proper contact lens care and handling of your new lenses. Your hands should be clean and free of any foreign substances when you handle your lenses.

-Always wash your hands thoroughly with a mild soap, rinse completely, and dry with a lint

-free towel before touching your lenses.

-Avoid the use of soaps containing cold cream, lotion, or oily cosmetics before handling your lenses, since these substances may come into contact with the lenses and interfere with successful wearing.

-Handle your lenses with your fingertips, and be careful to avoid contact with fingernails. It is helpful to keep your fingernails short and smooth.


1-Always wash, rinse, and dry hands before handling contact lenses.

2-Always use fresh, unexpired lens care solutions.

3-Always remove, clean, rinse, enzyme and disinfect your lenses according to the schedule.

4-Disposable contact lenses should be thrown away after the expiration of the wearing period.

5-Never rinse your lenses in water from the tap as it contains many impurities that can contaminate or damage your lenses and may lead to eye infection.

6-After removing your lenses from the lens case, empty and rinse the lens storage case with solution.

7-Remember to always discard solution from lens case after each use.

8-To store lenses, disinfect and leave them in the closed unopened case until ready to wear.

9-Lenses which stored in unopened case until next wear can up to a maximum of 30 days. If you store your lenses for longer than 30 days, they must be cleaned and disinfected again with fresh solution.

-Don’t wear contacts when entering a swimming pool, hot-tub or participating in any water-activity.

-Don’t expose your lenses or storage case to undue heat.

-Don’t share contact lenses with your friends or family.

-Don’t use tap water or saliva to rewet your lenses.
